Voyce

This was a dream project, combining a great product and client with a lot of adorable dogs.

The Voyce client came to us before they had a brand at all. In fact, they didn’t even have a finished product. We helped shape and develop everything about this smart, wearable technology for dogs.

The vision was to create a better way to understand how our dogs feel so that we can keep them healthy. An annual visit to the vet is usually accomanied with heightened anxiety and doesn’t give an accurate view of a dog’s health. We needed to build a brand and product that would instill trust among pet owners and within the veterinary and professional pet care community.

OUR INSIGHT

We began by talking with lots of dog owners. During our primary and secondary research with this audience, we heard one thing loud and clear: pet parents already feel close to their dogs, but they love the idea of learning more about them. Sure, the Voyce band measures a range of health and wellness indicators, like heart rate and calories burned, but it’s more than just a tracking device. By providing context for trending data and relevant educational content, it’s a window into how your dog is feeling. Our key insight: Voyce allows you to understand your dog like never before.

Since we were launching an unprecedented product in an entirely new category, we built a simple story to explain what Voyce really does. Echoing the three-part approach to overall wellness (above), we created an identity that captures the comprehensive Voyce experience.

Once the brand was set, we developed the marketing site, packaging, product UX and visual design for both consumer and veterinary professional experiences.

The Voyce wearable band is just the beginning. The real value comes in the form of trending data and insights, as well as tailored articles and advice. We also designed the app’s member area, which helps users track trends in their dogs’ health, learn more about their dogs, and keep track of important information.
